Born in Paris in 1953, Dominique Lassalvy is the son of famous french cartoonist Robert Lassalvy. After studying Architecture in Montpellier, his love for painting and drawing will lead him on a different path; He will then find refuge in the advertisement industry only to begin a career that will last 25 years. First, he will work in this field as an illustrator, then as an artistic director and finally as head of creation for an advertisement agency in which he will spend the next 5 years before starting his own career as a free lancer.
20 years later, he will become a teacher at a private graphic arts school.
