From 1997, Lassalvy devoted himself to painting fot which he always had a passion. Undoubtedly compared to Picasso whom he admired for its graphics and its creativity.

Although his career as a painter was cut short by his sudden and unexpected passing, a large production of art work was left to us by the artist.
His son Dominique Lassalvy inherited the genre of art.
